Adani Transmission Ltd (ATL), the largest private power transmission companies operating in India has said that it has received the LOI from PFC Consulting Limited (A wholly owned subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation Limited) to construct, own, operate and maintain the transmission project in the state of Rajasthan.
The project “Fatehgarh-Bhadla Transmission Limited” has approximately 200 Ckt kms of line at voltage level of 765 KV and one substation at voltage level of 400 KV. This project is primarily being constructed to wheel out renewable energy from state of Rajasthan to different beneficiaries within & outside of the state.
This project has been awarded to ATL through a Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Process. With this project, ATL will strengthen its existing significant presence in Rajasthan with 2 operational transmission projects (i.e. Aravali & Maru transmission company Ltd) and 4 under construction assets i.e. Suratgarh Bikaner, PPP-8, PPP-9 & PPP-10. On completion of this acquisition, apart from largest distribution network, the cumulative transmission network of ATL will reach around 12000 ckt kms, out of which approximate 9000 ckt kms are under operation. The transformation capacity of ATL will also increase to 19,300 MVA from 35 substations (Including 8 EHV Substations under acquisition) spread across the Country.
Meanwhile, shares of the company were trading at Rs 210.10 apiece, up 1.23 per cent from the previous close at 10:10 hours on BSE.
