Shares of Adani Transmission rose nearly 2 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the company reported over two-fold jump in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) on y-o-y basis at Rs 169.34 crore for June quarter.
Driven by strong Q1, stocks of the company gained as much as 1.83 per cent and touched an intra-day high of Rs 180.00 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In a similar trend, shares of the firm were trading 0.94 per cent higher at Rs 177.70 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 37,828.00, up 162.20 points, or 0.43 per cent, from previous close on the BSE at 11:30 hours.
