Shares of HDFC Bank slipped nearly 2 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the private sector lender’s Deputy MD Paresh Sukthankar resigned last week.
Weighed down by the development, stocks of the bank declined as much as 1.89 per cent and touched an intra-day low of Rs 2075.00 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In a similar trend, shares of the lender were trading 1.30 per cent lower at Rs 2,087.00 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 37,603.98, down 265.25 points, or 0.70 per cent, from previous close on the BSE at 10:20 hours.
