Shares of IDBI Bank fell over 2 per cent on Bombay Stock Exchange ahead of board meeting of LIC today to decide on increasing stake in debt-ridden bank to 51 percent.
Ahead of LIC board meeting, shares of the bank declined as much as 2.20 per cent to touch an intra-day low of Rs 59.80 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In a similar trend, stocks of the lender were trading at Rs 60.20 apiece, down 1.55 per cent, on the National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 38,306.84, down 5.68 points, or 0.02 per cent, from previous close on the BSE at 11:50 hours.
