Shares of Indiabulls Housing Finance rallied nearly 7 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange after media report suggested that the company plans to sell its stake in UK-based OakNorth Holdings within a month to a private equity fund.
Cheering the news, shares of the company gained as much as 6.88 per cent and touched an intra-day high of Rs 699.30 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In a similar trend, stocks of the firm were trading at Rs 690.20 apiece, up 5.57 per cent, on the National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 34,464.74, up 149.11 points, or 0.43 per cent, from the previous close on the BSE at 10:05 hours.
