Domestic bourses continued to trade higher during the noon trading session as pharma, metal, energy and PSU Bank indices rose 1-3 percent.
Meanwhile, Indian rupee is trading higher by 12 paise at 73.39 per dollar, amid buying seen in the domestic equity market. It opened lower by 13 paise at 73.63 per dollar against Friday's close of 73.51.
At 14:50 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 49490.62 up by 284.15 points or by 0.58 % and then NSE Nifty was at 14948.95 up by 125.8 points or by 0.85 %.
