Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL), India’s largest stainless steel producer, has introduced ‘JSL Saathi Pragati’, the country’s biggest loyalty programme for the stainless steel Pipes & Tubes (P&T) segment. The initiative aims to empower retailers and fabricators—key players in the sector’s value chain—by offering structured rewards, exclusive benefits, and a seamless digital interface, while strengthening product authenticity across the market.
Building on the earlier Jindal Saathi Seal—a co-branded campaign to curb counterfeit products—the new programme integrates authenticity verification with a robust engagement model. Each JSL pipe and tube is embedded with a unique QR code, which retailers and fabricators can scan using the JSL Saathi Pragati app (available on Android and iOS) to verify authenticity, earn points on genuine purchases, and redeem them for rewards.
The initiative has seen an encouraging start, with over 30,000 retailers and fabricators already onboarded, highlighting strong market acceptance.
Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal emphasized the programme’s purpose, noting that ensuring access to genuine materials is crucial to protecting consumer trust and safeguarding the sector’s credibility. He added that the initiative empowers on-ground experts—fabricators and retailers—to guide customers with confidence.
Beyond rewards, the programme includes accidental life insurance coverage for registered fabricators, enhancing their safety and social security. It also supports skill development through access to Fabricator Training Programmes (FTPs) under JSL’s Stainless Academy, enabling participants to register for courses on fabrication techniques directly through the app.
Currently focused on the P&T segment, JSL plans to expand the programme to additional categories in the coming years, fostering a more connected, digitally enabled ecosystem that promotes genuine stainless steel usage nationwide.
