Antara Senior Living Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Max India, has partnered with Max Estates to exclusively manage senior living residences and amenities at Estate 361—an 18.23-acre wellness-centric development located along the fast-growing Dwarka Expressway in Gurugram. This is Antara’s second collaboration with Max Estates, following the success of Estate 360, where 292 senior units were fully booked within 11 months.
Estate 361 will offer 360 senior living homes and feature a dedicated integrated wellness centre combining modern medicine with traditional Indian therapies, aimed at enhancing overall quality of life for seniors. The Antara Integrated Wellness Centre will provide access to in-house doctors, round-the-clock nursing, emergency services, ambulance support, specialist consultations as well as Ayurveda, naturopathy, homeopathy, acupressure, acupuncture and UV therapy.
Commenting on the project, Mr. Rajit Mehta, MD & CEO of Antara Senior Care, said that ageing should be viewed as a period of renewed empowerment. He highlighted the growing need for clinically guided and compassionate well-being solutions as seniors face chronic health issues, mobility limitations and emotional vulnerability. Communities like Estate 361 blend active ageing with integrated care, enabling seniors to live with dignity, confidence and joy.
Designed with nature and wellness at the forefront, Estate 361 will house more than 250,000 sq. ft. of forest greens, water features and sensory pathways to support cognitive and emotional well-being. Over 200,000 sq. ft. of amenities will cater to active ageing, including paddleball courts, golf putting greens, all-weather and hydrotherapy pools, and a senior-focused gym. The Antara Club will curate year-round recreational and engagement activities.
Residences are thoughtfully designed for accessibility and independence, featuring wheelchair-friendly layouts, anti-skid flooring, rounded edges, grab bars, panic buttons, well-ventilated spaces and glare-free lighting. Daily living will be made effortless with Antara-managed services including gourmet and home-style meals, nutritionist support, laundry and housekeeping delivered with care.
India’s senior population is projected to jump from around 147 million in 2024 to nearly 350 million by 2050, with the 80+ age group expected to rise by 279%, according to ASLI-JLL and UNFPA estimates. The shift from joint families to nuclear households has created a pressing need for professional senior care solutions, as many seniors face loneliness or limited support. With growing investor interest—including from NRIs—the senior living sector is becoming increasingly structured and holistic.
Leveraging the Max Group’s strengths in healthcare, hospitality and real estate, Antara is well positioned to lead this evolving senior care landscape and shape dignified, dependable senior living ecosystems in India.
