Bartronics India Limited has announced a major strategic transformation to accelerate its presence in rural commerce, agritech, and digital platforms. The Board has approved renaming the company to Avio Smart Market Stack Limited (ASMS), subject to regulatory approvals, signalling a renewed vision to build a national omni-format ecosystem for India’s rural economy.
As part of the transition, the company will appoint a national brand ambassador to strengthen farmer outreach and drive wider adoption of the Avio platform across key agricultural markets.
ASMS is also set to launch its Smart Agri Store franchise model, which will act as a physical extension of its digital marketplace, offering integrated agri-inputs, advisory services, digital onboarding, and procurement linkages. The company will soon initiate an Expression of Interest (EoI) process for franchise partners.
To support its nationwide scaling plans, the company will recruit senior professionals across agritech operations, marketplace development, rural commerce, technology, finance, and supply chain. Governance will be enhanced through the induction of directors with deep sectoral experience.
Bartronics also confirmed that its new corporate website will go live within 2–3 days. The Board reviewed progress under Project Avio, including the development of a multilingual Avio Agritech mobile app and a unified digital marketplace.
Managing Director N. Vidhya Sagar Reddy said the decisions reflect the company's commitment to building a seamless digital-plus-physical platform capable of scaling nationally and becoming one of India’s largest rural market-enablement ecosystems.
With these initiatives, the soon-to-be Avio Smart Market Stack Limited aims to create a comprehensive, technology-driven rural commerce ecosystem designed to deliver long-term value for farmers, rural entrepreneurs, agri-input providers, and market participants across India.
