Jindal Stainless Limited has commenced sourcing clean energy from Oyster Renewable Energy’s 216 MW hybrid (solar and wind) project in Madhya Pradesh.
The development follows a power purchase agreement (PPA) signed between the two companies in 2024 for the supply of hybrid renewable energy.
Under the agreement, Oyster Renewable Energy will supply over 700 million units of electricity annually from two hybrid projects with a combined capacity of 315 MW. The projects are being developed at an estimated cost of Rs 2,000 crore, which includes a Rs 132 crore investment from Jindal Stainless.
