Larsen & Toubro on Wednesday said its Power Transmission & Distribution business vertical has secured new orders in the Middle East for setting up extra-high voltage substations.
The projects include the construction of one 380 kV substation and two 132 kV substations for clients in the region.
According to the company, the high-capacity substations are expected to improve power reliability for large load centres and help decongest existing grids, enabling them to meet rising electricity demand efficiently.
