The Nifty 50 and Sensex pared early gains to close off their highs, weighed down by losses in banking and auto stocks, as investors remained cautious ahead of further developments in the ongoing US–Iran negotiations.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 77988.68 down by -122.56 points or by -0.16 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24196.75 down by -34.55 points or by -0.14 %.
