Ashok Leyland, the commercial vehicle manufacturer, announced on Tuesday a 6% rise in total sales for March, reaching 24,060 units compared to 22,736 units in the same month last year.
The company's domestic sales grew by 6% to 22,510 units, up from 21,187 units in March 2024, according to a statement.
Sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCVs) in the domestic market saw a 12% increase, reaching 16,082 units compared to 14,387 units in the corresponding period last year, the company added.
