Lehar Footwears Ltd has announced the launch of its new athleisure brand, ‘Rannr’, aimed at delivering premium-quality sports footwear at affordable prices. The brand will initially roll out over 250 SKUs of trending sports shoes, targeting the mass and mid-market segments.
With the addition of Rannr alongside its flagship Lehar brand, the company now covers the full non-leather footwear segment, spanning both open and closed categories. Rannr shoes will focus on performance, comfort, durability, and affordability for Indian consumers.
The company plans to leverage its strong distribution base, leading e-commerce platforms, and nationwide supply chain. It will also launch a direct-to-consumer (D2C) platform to boost visibility and expand sales channels.
Commenting on the launch, Raj Kumar Agarwal, Chairman and Whole-Time Director, Lehar Footwears Ltd, said: “Lehar and Rannr will serve as complementary brands within our non-leather portfolio. This marks our entry into the closed footwear category, creating new synergies in design, distribution, and consumer engagement.”
Over the long term, Rannr is expected to grow into a full-fledged sports and athleisure brand, diversifying into running, training, and lifestyle footwear, supported by designs from Lehar’s in-house studio. The company also plans to extend Rannr’s footprint across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, building on Lehar’s strong export presence.
