Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty extended losses for a second consecutive session on Friday, dragged down by foreign fund outflows and selling pressure in banking stocks, following a lacklustre start to the quarterly earnings season.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 81757.73 down by -501.51 points or by -0.61 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24968.4 down by -143.05 points or by -0.57 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 82334.75 and intraday low of 81608.13 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25144.6 and intraday low of 24918.65
