The Indian equity markets extended their winning streak for the third consecutive session on Monday, supported by sustained buying in information technology (IT) and banking stocks.
At 14:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81757.56 up by 550.39 points or by 0.68 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25035 up by 140.75 points or by 0.57 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 81846.42 and intraday low of 81155.88 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25088.4 and intraday low of 24881.65
