Shares of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries extended rally on Wednesday and rose nearly 4 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange after drug maker said that it has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) for company's Halol facility.
Following the announcement, stocks of the company gained as much as 3.74 per cent and touched an intra-day high of Rs 560.75 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In a similar trend, shares of the firm were trading 2.53 per cent higher at Rs 554.10 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 35,819.44, up 126.92 points, or 0.36 per cent at 11:20 hours.
