Indian benchmark indices continued to extend gains during the morning deals tracking gains in index majors HDFC twins, ICICI Bank and Kotak Bank amid largely positive cues from global markets.
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers in the capital market as they offloaded shares worth Rs 1,142.75 crore on Friday, according to provisional exchange data.
At 10:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 49554.1 up by 347.63 points or by 0.71 % and then NSE Nifty was at 14930.3 up by 107.15 points or by 0.72 %.
